Quick update. I have seen minutes of an SFE and BIS meeting about other stuff where the DSA cuts got raised.
SFE seem as surprised by the scope as the rest of us (well done BIS) and there were the words "Existing students are protected from any of the changes".
This suggests as strongly as you'll ever get out of SFE that they won't apply the DSA-cuts rules to your DSA.
